Is it time for a HS Transfer Portal?
Is it time for a HS Transfer Portal?
With so many kids jumping from school to school and with it so easy to do so nowadays, should the state go ahead and create a portal for kids?

Absolutely. Choice is good. Nothing wrong with giving kids and their families more options to decide their own destiny.
Besides, it's 2021, and loyalty is expensive.

Just open it up but make competitive balance count as 3 or 4.

Id say 2 per school in a given year and you automatically jump a division.

If kids want to transfer, let them. Who cares how many or where they come from. I have a problem with the “recruiting” though. Parent will always talk and try to get their kids to play together. But keep coaches and boosters out of it.
