WK13 Western Brown vs Jackson (rematch)

It was the correct call. The play was 10 yards in front of him scoring a TD and the kid hits the western brown player in the back on the 10 yard line. Just a poor decision. It happened right in front of me. Great game though! Hats off to both teams.

Wrong. Like I just said I watched it 30 times now. Wasn’t in the back and the kid was within 3 steps of Winters.

I can only tell you what I saw as an unbiased spectator.

Appreciate it....Since you're a Jackson fan and this is the first time I've seen them this year mind, was it me or did the offense look more lethal spreading it out?? If so has Jackson used that more this year and just not much in this game. Just seemed like Jackson had A LOT of speed that wasn't getting used at all on offense, I mean Prater can flat fly and wasn't getting any touches.

I thought the refs did a good job tonight. It was a great game with a lot of hard hitting. Novak is definitely the real deal. The kid made some amazing plays. Jackson played good defense, but just not much you can do when the passes are that accurate.

Taking one thought?? So you give both teams credit talk about how closely it was BUT you said the refs didn't let the players decide it, sort of a backhanded compliment to the game. Surely you can see that.

Find someone on here who has complimented WB and Novak more. I’ll wait.

What are you waiting on?? Never said you complained about WB you gave them props but threw the big but the officials didn't let the players decide the game. Care to explain how they didn't....I'll wait.

I congratulated WB and haven’t said a single negative thing about them. They are more disciplined than Jackson but tonight, even with our lack of discipline type penalties I thought the refs didn’t let the players decide the game. Maybe like a basketball game where we have a few more turnovers than the opponent and miss a couple free throws down the stretch but on the wrong side of a bunch of huge calls. I can be mad about the officiating in this game and still give props to WB for winning and Jackson making more errors in losing.

I love the Jackson/Western Brown series and hope it continues. Hearing Novak has a younger brother (not the receiver) that is expect to be just as good down the road. It’s a long drive but it’s my favorite matchup of the season. I have nothing but respect for WB.

Yeah that sounded a lot better, your initial post of refs not letting players decide the outcome was spoken out of anger. I get it, both teams made the errors just WB had the offense to overcome them. Hard to believe he's got a younger brother coming up who's expected to be just as good, his older brother the #7 WR does a nice job of getting open and making the play.

Yeah I thought it was called by the side judge, still like to see the play in it's entirety though just because snap shots really don't do a play justice. Because a player on WB was on the ground, I mean from that picture only thing I could nitpick on if I'm saying personal foul is the Jackson player looks to be leading with his head. Again that's just going off the personal foul call and if we're equating it to this picture.

That's what I thought, I honestly didn't think it had anything to do with this block which was why I was curious to see the video. Because I remember a WB player getting knocked down around the 10 maybe as he was standing there, or so I thought anyways

Yeah the kid was blocked to the ground. Was a good block. The pictures show it wasn’t late , kid wasn’t defenseless. Just mind boggling to call that then.
