I’d like to see em too. He’s tough and it’s a tough offense to stop.
Winters had 3 TD passes and 1 rushing (well except when the bad side official decided it wasn’t).
Fun game fun series .

Man not a bad night, he hits 500 if not for the drops. Going to be interesting against Granville because I believe they've got a very solid DL that might be able to apply pressure. At 6-6 and these teams playing zone and not trying to apply pressure he simply sees the entire field and has the arm and accuracy to hit the voids. Clinton Massie at times dropped 8 and 9 into coverage he still picked them apart.icanpickem wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 2:24 pmpassing 29-42 420 2-2

I think the catch might be that he’s not fooled by anything….he knows when to take off and run and he knows when and where to throw….he’s not an easy tackle and tougher than his frame would lead you to believe.greygoose wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 7:42 pmMan not a bad night, he hits 500 if not for the drops. Granville's starting QB is our for the year the backup has led the way last 2 games. Granville's defense has been VERY stingy this year so it's going to be interesting. I don't believe Granville will let him sit back in the pocket though, regardless of if you think you can fool the QB or not when one thing isn't working you have to try something different.Ironman92 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 8:15 pmI think the catch might be that he’s not fooled by anything….he knows when to take off and run and he knows when and where to throw….he’s not an easy tackle and tougher than his frame would lead you to believe.greygoose wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 7:42 pmMan not a bad night, he hits 500 if not for the drops. I heard Granville’s QB is hurt? If so can Granville score enough? Western is going to score…..Granville hasn’t faced a QB like him I doubt. Should be a dandy.
Yes….and Jackson did. Much more pressure in the 2nf half and made him work but the fact his receivers work so good with him on scramble plays. We’ll see…I think Novak is something different in the field than on the film…..Granville’s defense might be too but Novak is so calm on every single play….seems a step ahead over 95% of the things defenses do.greygoose wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 8:40 pmGranville's starting QB is our for the year the backup has led the way last 2 games. If you ask me they definitely should have
The teams were even and the play was excellent. The refs however not so much.
And I know the ole “refs screwed us” excuse is used a lot but sometimes it’s true. Referees can 100% change the outcome of a ball game. And the worst thing is there’s nothing you can do about it
The flag called on the block by #5 is just terrible. The kid was within 5 yards of winters running after him trying to make the tackle. The WB defender was not blind sided, he saw #5 running at him the whole way. Just a terrible, weak, soft call. Nowadays if someone gets hit too hard it’s an automatic penalty. Took 7 off the board.
Yeah I sound like a whiny b@tch , but man two bad calls was all it took...
To top it all off, take a look at the film. Almost every controversial call was made by the same ref and it was way more then 2 plays. I don’t think the entire reffing team had a bad game. But man 1 ref really flipped momentum at the most unfortunate times in the game. While I don’t think the game was stolen, I do believe the 1 ref had an extremely bad day at work. In the end we just couldn’t fight through adversity and find a way to win. Not getting any points off the 2 INTs was also a turning point in the game for me.Ironmen98 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 14, 2021 9:38 amYeah I sound like a whiny b@tch , but man two bad calls was all it took...
Yeah I agree. Calling the 60 yard touchdown run back over a clean block was an all time terrible call. Sad and shameful. Hope that ref reads this .LBD0263 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 14, 2021 12:07 pmTo top it all off, take a look at the film. Please please please have Gallia schedule Jackson. PleaseVik wrote: ↑Sun Nov 14, 2021 9:57 am I have to admit that I think it’s funny that Jackson got hosed a bit by the refs and lost but the officiating seemed like they we’re definitely against Jackson. Made me laugh a few times as I was watching from home. Novack was really good and fun to watch. Alot of big time potential with that kid.
