If it is the same boys at Hurricane I saw them play AAU ball and they are that height but very thin. They were raw and hadn't play alot of organized ball. That was 3 summers ago.

I believe Hurricane also has a young 6'5 wing Dillon Tingler that is pretty smooth and shoots it well from 3. Till #12 the big guy doesn't get to involved in the offense but jams up the paint on the other end. In 3 games worth of highlights 3 different guys threw one down so they are pretty athletic. They like to shoot the 3 and seem to consider the volleyball line as a good shot. They play hard on defense but try to block every shot. A couple head fakes and waverly could live at the line.

They got blown out by Parkersburg South whom Logan lost to by 12 or 13. The rest of their games looked to have been one-possession games either way.

... I believe Hurricane was down a starter due to injury for the game this past weekend vs Parkersburg South - Nas'Jaih Jones ... he had put up 15 in the game prior to the PSHS game ... Tingler looked very athletic and just a sophomore - the Redskins started 3 sophs and 2 seniors vs PSHS on Saturday with Jones being a junior ...

... pfloyd is heading to the river to catch Day 2 of the action ... I want to see Symmes Valley who is putting up good numbers with only 1 loss on the season at 6-1 vs undefeated Lucasville Valley (6-0) my #4 team in SEO no matter the division ... Waverly sits at the top as my #1 team - the Tigers are playing a brutal schedule especially the non-conference lineup with Newark this past weekend, Hurricane WVa Wednesday evening, then comeback to their own Classic next week to take on the University of Upper Arlington - all different forcing the Tigers of Coach Robertson to adjust their game to be successful on the court ! - My hat goes off to Coach Robertson & the Tigers ... Chillicothe vs Ironton ...Coach Beard is doing magic in Chilli as he has the CAVs playing excellent basketball ... smoke and mirrors? THAT'S what I want to find out !!! vs Ironton who I know from watching livestream last season has some outstanding youngsters coming into the program this season - should be a great day of basketball BOTH days !!!

I totally agree art vandelay - what I love about it is the fact that the 21-22 edition can PLAY vs THIS type of competition and BE competitive ! they SHOULD have beat Newark this past weekend - the W was there to be had ... as I told Coach Robertson when he got off of the radio - the TEAM "learns" something about itself every time out - in a loss even more so !!! they learned this past weekend vs Newark ... looking forward to their game tomorrow evening vs Hurricane HS and again next week vs the Univ. of Upper Arlington ...
