Irontons Ty Perkins receives Divison 1 offer.
Re: Irontons Ty Perkins receives Divison 1 offer.
Like I said. Haven’t heard that one. Do you think Pendelton knows all these people in Lawrence Co or KY or WV. I mean you guys act like they are going door to door getting these guys. I will say the knows about the same amount of ppl from other schools as you or I do. I know very few people on a personal level from these other districts and next to no one in Ky and WV and lived here in Ironton basically my entire life.
I was always taught to believe nothing you hear and half of what you see. If he was doing what you claim they would have been in trouble by now especially with the kids moving back to Ironton now like it was back in the day.

Know what it takes to play major college football. If I recall he is probably the only guy from our area to ever score in the Rose Bowl. I would trust his judgment on talent. You can’t talk the talk until
You can walk the walk simple as that.
Come play for ironton. Our coach caught a touchdown pass.
Woby,
Wasn’t he a 4 year starter. I recall he was a great player who did a lot for the program while there. Jealousy cuts deep with you.
Also I can’t recall an Burg grad ever doing anything on that stage. But I could name about 25 Fighting Tigers. That’s the difference.
I believe he was part of the winningest class in Michigan State history.

They could use him now. Ouch.BigBlueNation wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 9:19 pmXandOs wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 7:13 pm

Congrats. Always nice to see kids from any part of the state get offers

This is why Ironton needs the better players to win. It’s not the coachingXandOs wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 8:26 pmI’m a die hard Fighting Tiger fan. Coach Lutz had as many or more kids move in during their glory years as Ironton does now. We had a pipeline from SP, Huntington and surrounding areas. I love Coach Lutz and have great respect for what he accomplished but it was no different than today. Many of you are just jumping on the narrative without any facts or evidence.Yh8awinner wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 8:20 pm Not talking about the past. I'm taking anything away from Lutz.

I could win 300 games with the best kids from the area. Off tackle ..off tackle …… off tackle……pop pass easy to do with the biggest, strongest fastest. See 300 wins easy
Re: Irontons Ty Perkins receives Divison 1 offer.
No couldn't. Thats why you are on here posting instead of coaching.
Re: Irontons Ty Perkins receives Divison 1 offer.
Your prolly right but a lot easier to coach when you have the best Jimmy’s and Joe’s. Some coaches need them
Re: Irontons Ty Perkins receives Divison 1 offer.
I’m not a hater. Point is if I win 300 with a lot of college player or 150 with out many college players. Who’s the better coach
