Possible regional matchup here in February depending on how things go on our end

Reminds me somewhat of Webster/New Boston opening game matchup a few years back (2018-19 season if I remember right). Webster won the opening game, but New Boston ended up later beating them in District Championship in another great game. ND's size advantage (Sparks, Metzler, Edgington, etc.) will cause Webster fits on the boards, but Webster will have the edge on the perimeter shooting-wise. Pace of game will decide this one...if ND can slow it down and make it a physical, half-court game, they can win. Can easily see this being a rematch at District/Regional level come March*80sballer wrote: Mon Nov 22, 2021 12:13 pm My gut says SW by 6-12 at home. I think as the year goes on ND will continue to get better and learn how to win games would be a great regional tournament game in March.
ironman92: From what I've heard, ND added a kid from Valley and one from Greenup County. The other rumored transfers didn't happen, and the spring transfer from Portsmouth went back to Portsmouth. Still looks like a solid D4 team with an 8-9 man rotation mixed with size and athleticism.*
Metzler from Valley, sophomore big kid. 6'2"ish
They absolutely will give Webster all they want.Irish wrote: Wed Nov 24, 2021 7:13 am Notre Dame will give Webster all they want and then some. If it’s a close game, advantage goes to Notre Dame. Webster will get out-coached.
