This is their 13 State Semifinal Appearance and 10 State Championship Appearance, with Championships in 1990, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1998, and 2003. Runners up in 1988, 1996, and 2004. 6 State Championships and even the second best overall record in the MAC for State Championships.

Kirtland is going for consecutive win number 55 and State Championship number 7.
