Jackson vs Minford
Jackson vs Minford
Big game…both teams have shown promise and both teams still figuring things out.
Probably lower scoring
Thoughts?

Depends on turnovers. Minford is playing very well going into this game. Will Minford zone Jackson ?

Re: Jackson vs Minford
Jackson seems to like lower scoring games and the idea that the first to 50 wins the game. Love the way they play defense. They play with a lot of grit and will. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jackson held Minford to the 40-50 point range and found a way to win the game late sat the free throw line. Minford is good but Jackson loves playing defense and playing it the right way.

Re: Jackson vs Minford
This non-conference game will be a big test for Jackson and the FAC as it will show if the FAC might be a week conference this year. The FAC teams have played very little non-conference games or at least Jackson has only played one and my bulldogs played them in check. With the exception of Oak Hill, I see Jackson being tested with shooting teams. Jackson's defense will be taken to task as their offense will need to put up points. Chillicothe turned the ball over more times than Jackson belive if I kept the right count and still won the game. If the soph. guard scores in double figures Jackson can win. Keep the game posted as I will be watching my bulldogs.

I think the FAC will be a very competitive conference this year, I could see McClain, Jackson, WCH, and Hillsboro all with 12+ winsBetween the Lines wrote: ↑Tue Dec 21, 2021 12:16 pm This non-conference game will be a big test for Jackson and the FAC as it will show if the FAC might be a week conference this year.
