Very impressive 1st half by Valley, EVEN MORE impressive 2nd half by Waverly...their leaders stepped up and did what they needed to do.
Very entertaining game to watch, looking forward to the 2nd matchup.
D4 may need to watch out for Valley.

It was a good game to view on line. I was pleasantly surprised there wasn't a major drop off in the second quarter when 2 starters sat with foul trouble. I do hope valley can continue to get a 6th or 7th person in the rotation to keep up the relentless pressure, without a major falloff.

Absolutely. Very impressed with what I saw from both teams, to be honest. I knew this was a measuring stick, and even with a loss I feel like Valley answered the bell so-to-speak, and as you said, keep getting that 6th and 7th guy in there as the season goes on. I think the 2nd matchup will be just as good.FIDO wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 8:58 pm It was a good game to view on line.
