Well ....the topic starts out more on stats than leading.....so I would like to see the stats on both of the players first year. I have seen good leaders where the team stunk and didn't get any rewards. Lots of good stats doesn't always win games but won some rewards.

Burrow playing JV as a freshman seems like child abuse. Burrow was actually Athens TE going into his sophomore year. Athens went 10-0 his freshman year and brought back the QB. The QB’s dad got a job at Fresno State that summer. He ended up starting QB for two years at a D1 playoff California school

Michael Germano. He was their linebacker but also got moved to QB too in their bigger games. Big kid. Turned down D1 offers for academic offers. Now a software engineer for Facebook. His brother was TE and DE on that 9-1 Athens team. Michael was 10-0 at Athens
