Waverly playing well with big wins over Valley and Minford, avenging the early season loss at Muletown, and a dominating win at South Webster on Tuesday.

Non conference game on the road before hosting Eastern & West on Tuesday and Friday.

Just saw that Miami Trace hosts McClain Friday night and then play the orange & black Tigers less then 24 hours later because of the early start on Saturday. Could be a factor in this as Waverly looks to apply full court pressure and get out in transition.

I'll be watching the napkin stats & score on this one - Miami Trace is a year away with soooo many youngin's - sophomores getting starts and minutes off the bench ... MT started 1 senior & 1 junior and 3 sophs when I watched them in a 43-58 loss to D1 Lancaster & 50-56 loss to the U ... I'm a fan ! MT has the pieces to be a very nice team in 2022-23 ... Andrew Guthrie has size/strength/foot work in the paint/ can step out for the 3 ball ... sophs Eli Fliehman/Garrett Guess/Austin Boedeker/ Bryson Osborne give them a team that hits the 3 ball, when I watched them MT had balanced scoring with these sophs getting 7-8 points each vs the U ... the sophs have had 3/4 of a season at the varsity level vs the best that the FAC has to offer, they are battle tested ... it's a barometer game for MT - see how much they have grown as "varsity players" going against the best that SEO has to offer in the Tigers ... smurray you'll have to do a good rundown with napkin stats on this one ! not saying that MT is in the same "league" as Waverly at all - with all of the pieces it has with a quality big in Guthrie, and good role players I want to see how much these youngin's have improved ...
