If Trimble decided to move up to TVC Ohio. Week 10
could be Athens-Alexander, NY-Trimble. RV-Meigs and VC- Wellston. That's a pretty good line up.

If Oak Hill joined, Athens-NY, Wellston-VC, Oak Hill/Alexander,
RV-Meigs

If Gallia Academy joined GA- Meigs, Athens-NY, Wellston-VC,
RV-Alexander.

I like the Trimble week 10 the best. Warren is better located for the new league. I am not really for anyone leaving that can be a slippery slope.

Don't think Meigs would be able to win in TSL.
They don’t win in the TVC Ohio either.
Very true

Trimble moving up would be great. Those are solid week 10 rivalries.

They haven’t won in football since 1998 and I believe even longer in basketball.

I was talking more about a game now and then instead of being league champs

I like NY vs. Athens in Week 10 and hope it would remain Week 10 no matter who ends up in the Ohio.

I never would have thought the TVC would have to worry but recently teams have been dropping out quite a bit. Or have been ran out. This new league might be cause for some concern. Time will tell.

If Trimble joined I think it would be week 5. I agree though, NY VS Athens should always be week 10.

Just a thought. Given current events and the prospect of higher energy costs, will conference realignment and membership be driven more by economics rather competitiveness and tradition. Is there a possibility of conference contraction rather than expansion?

The TVC will stay as is for a good while. With South Gallia leaving that cuts down some long travel for Hocking teams and the Ohio is in pretty good shape. If a team or 2 gets added in the next 5 years or so that's great. If not, that's great too.
This is a stable league and the schools are happy to be members.

With SG gone, wouldn’t the odds be that Miller comes back to the Hocking? That would put them at 6 and the Ohio still with 7.

You'd have to ask Miller.
