Ohio State Spring Football Game
Re: Ohio State Spring Football Game
I think the Bucks will break their 2 game losing streak
I'm more interested to see if one of the students can beat Wilson in 40 race after the game, some of them have ran in the 4.5 range during the trials in March. They will have an advantage if he plays a lot in the game due to being fatigued and sore, but they will still have to step it up to beat him, wonder if Meyer has any thoughts of suiting them up since he is so in love with speed ? :aaaaa46

Biggest question mark is who will back up Braxton WHEN he goes down with cramps or injury. No more Kenny to fall back on.

Not much excitement from this game! QBs didn't look good, and the new look line was unimpressive, but not that surprising for a spring game. The halftime races were about the only exciting thing this year.Them students were fast :122246 and I never would have imagined Earle Bruce was once a sprinter
. Afraid the little fast guy that won the heat race is too small to suit up at this level.Looked like Wilson pulled up early with a hammy, hope not! Why did them announcers keep saying the Bucks have not played Navy since 2001 ? They last played them as recently as 2009
I also thought it was funny when Meyer overruled the referee on the holding call, too bad he can't do that in the real games

Re: Ohio State Spring Football Game
My thoughts about the game that I did attend.
J.T. Barrett was the best of the the two quarterbacks that seen action yesterday.
He looked more poised in the pocket and threw a very good ball.
Michael Thomas by far was the best REC on the field.
Two unknown players to many that looked good to me was
Soph Nik Sarac. I do not believe he allowed a reception all game long, when he was in man coverage.
Soph Ron Tanner. Dude seems to be around the ball a lot and showed he can hit.
Was disappointed none of the other QB's got game time.
As well as being disappointed that more rec did not get any game time.

I hope the Fresh., Collier, progresses quickly, he is most likely the future of the qb position, a physical specimen and carries an impressive GPA, or did in high school anyway, some say he has Krenzel "smarts", time will tell

I agree. We were spoiled with Kenny frankly and I'm sure Miller will take some shots this year by the looks of our line!Higgy Baby wrote:I hope the Fresh., Collier, progresses quickly, he is most likely the future of the qb position, a physical specimen and carries an impressive GPA, or did in high school anyway, some say he has Krenzel "smarts", time will tell
