Nice opening night win for the Reds down in Atlanta. Mahle pitched pretty well. Had 7 or 8 K’s and a nice snag on the mound. Drury with a big homer as well. Bullpen was decent. Moretta gave up a long ball. 1 down, 161 more win for complete greatness. Votto was awesome mic’d up btw.

Votto mic'd up was freaking awesome!! I wish we could have a player able to do that more often. He is so knowledgeable with his craft. Younger kids watching should take notes on that stuff

What a game! Reds played well all around. India showing he wants a gold glove already added to his mantle! I enjoyed seeing Santillan able to capture his 1st big league save, I think that's a huge momentum boost for him! When Barrero, Solano and Schrock are healthy, bye bye Aquino!

Reiver Sanmartin takes the bump tonight for the Redlegs facing off against the veteran Charlie Morton at 7:20 pm. Go Reds!

Positive start. One game at a time. However I did mess up and looked at the Red's schedule for April. 17 of 21 games are against the Braves, Dodgers, Padres, and Cardinals. All playoff teams.

Crazy that last night was the first time Votto ever popped out to a pitcher lol. Different lineup tonight. Jake Fraley will make his Reds debut out in RF. Moose replaces Drury at 3B and Naquin is in at DH. I like this lineup a lot better, mainly just because Aquino is out. Interested to see Sanmartin against this Braves lineup.

Reds fall to the Braves 7-6 tonight. Nice 9th inning rally by the Reds but couldn’t quite complete the comeback. Other than that 9th inning rally there wasn’t a whole lot to like about tonight. Sanmartin got roughed up, and until that 9th inning the Reds I think only had 3 hits. However I did really like what I seen out of Alexis Diaz. He’s got some good stuff. Maybe he will turn out like his brother Edwin who is the closer for the Mets. Gutierrez will take the hill tomorrow night in Atlanta.

Hunter Greene makes his ML debut today, very excited to watch today.

Reds split the opening season series down in Atlanta with the Braves. Hit the ball well today. Hunter Greene had an awesome ML debut. He looked unhittable at times, he really does have some electric stuff. He alone will put butts in seats at GABP. Art Warren looked solid coming in to close out the game as well. Off day tomorrow before hosting 2 against the Guardians.
