Who did he play for?
Do you have a specific game or memory?
Played for Kenton. Seen him in State Championship game against Portsmouth West in 02. That year he had over 1300 yards rushing and 6000 passing. He was the all-time passing leader in the Nation until his younger brother Matty passed him up.
Your stats are off there he never had 1300 rushing and never had a season with 6000. He did win back to back state titles, but stat wise you are thinking of matty his younger brother. He is the best player I’ve ever seen. His junior year he had close to 6k passing. He will never be topped for me. Ben had better defense when he played
Was Matty the one who played QB at Missouri?

Jackson folks help me out with a big fullback last name Swisher, I believe early 2000s. Any high school stats or college?
He was a physical monster.

David Swisher was a beast. BIG

I think around 1600 yards one season. Had 2 big seasons I think. Do t think he played in college but likely could have.

Ben Mauk stats in 2002
6540 passing yards
1388 rushing yards
76 tds.
Those stats are from USA Todayhss.com top 14 qb season. There is 4 kids on that list that was coached by Mike Mauk. Ben, Maty and Grant Sherman from Kenton and Alex Huston from a school in Missouri.

Meigs had an awesome running back, I believe late 90s, Justin Roulsh? Not sure if I spelled his last name right, but wasn't he Mr. Ohio, played at OU?

Idk maybe with playoffs but he didn’t run as much as his brother. I like Ben played against him in 7v7 but maty was way better imo.

I know it's not a contest, but I am going to win this thread. We moved into our current house and town (Yulee, FL) just before the start of Derrick Henry's senior year of high school. I went to three games that year and he rushed close to 1000 yards in just those three games.

Here recently the QB for Western Brown Drew Novak was extremely impressive and curious to see how that young mans career turns out. LB another recent player but really one of the most complete guys I've seen at the position R. Carrico.
Wasn't Akia Brown from East?

I believe we do remember Mr Miller in the sense of unfulfilled potential.

Joe Burrow is the obvious answer.
Derek Arnold is up there. One of the best backs I've ever seen. He could run around you but he prefered to run over you.

Huge talent. Both football and basketball I know of.
Did he play college anywhere?

Nelsonville had a running back early 90s, with last name Gail.
Help me out please.
