Well I certainly dont agree with the statement that MSU can play with anyone in the country because I am assuming that you think they would be victorious against some of the better squads in the USA. Not buying it. I will agree with your perception about both teams being somewhat similar in how they try to get things done.But that is it.

As if Ohio State isn't one if the better squads in the USA and Sparty looked pretty good against us. Let's see how the Rose Bowl turns out first before a final judgement is made. There will be plenty of crow to go around for somebody!

Sparty indeed exploited OSU's weaknesses but also delivered a physical beatdown during the fourth quarter. The TV camera did a close up of Buckeye defender faces and it was obvious they were gassed and beaten down. Never thought I would see OSU sustain such a whooping. As to the bowl game, Clemson wins big something like 63-35. The Tigers have better athletes than Sparty and OSU's problems on defense are well documented. Add an emotional letdown by the Buckeyes and the rout will be on.

Boy I sure hope you're wrong Omega but fear you may not be too far off! I don't think Clemson is as physical as Sparty was and might not be able to exploit us in the same way that State did. Obviously, Clemson is more athletic and will try to get the football out in open space. Still optimistic about a Buckeye victory! Go bucks!!
