Matt Mengel gave the Stars a 3-0 in the opening quarter. Philly led 10-0 after Case Cookus(Northern Arizona) hit Devin Gray (Cincinnati) for a 10-0 lead. Matt Mengel (UCLA) hit the point-after kick. Michael Carrizosa hit a field goal to make this a 10-3 game. Shea Patterson (Michigan) scored n a six-yard QB run to make this a 10-9 game. Michigan would get the 88-yard touchdown run from Reggie Corbin (Illinois) and a two-point conversion to go up 17-10. Jordan Moore (UTSA) gets a pick with thirty-seven seconds left in the half to set up a 41-yard touchdown pass from Cookus to Diondre Overton (Clemson) to make this a 17-17 game at the half.

In the second half, Mengel hit a field goal to make this a 20-17 Philly lead. With 30 seconds left in the quarter Mengal made it 23-17 with a 30-yard field goal. In the fourth quarter with 8:59 left Patterson found Joe Walker (Delaware) for the 11-yard touchdown that was followed by a two-point conversion run by Stevie Scott III (Indiana) making it a 25-23 Michigan lead. Mengal nails his fourth field goal of the game to make this a 26-25 game with 5:19 left. Carrizosa missed a chip shot 21-yard field goal with three seconds left allowing the stars to qin 26-25.
