They'll get started in August. Come back then and ask and I'm sure someone on here will know the answer.NoCouchCoach wrote: Mon Apr 25, 2022 6:22 pm How are things looking this year? Who is the QB taking over?
Re: Meigs Football 2022
Word on the street is the HC's dad is coming on board this year and father son are having secret meetings among themselves. Danny did a great job at PC so this could be a good pick up for Meigs if it's accurate. From what Ive heard they plan to unveil all the changes sometime in the next few months. Can't wait to see what they have planned. With the recent influx of Meigs coaches coming to Eastern we seem to have a direct pipeline of information coming in from The Place that Bartrum Built.

Hopefully one of the "changes" is at the top. Wasted a lot of talent the past few years with minimal wins. I think even NFL had a better record.eagle25 wrote: Tue Apr 26, 2022 12:17 pm Word on the street is the HC's dad is coming on board this year and father son are having secret meetings among themselves. Re: Meigs Football 2022
current coaches record is 9-18, Early quarter back favorite is upcoming senior Conner Imboden and Kolten Thomas. Both seen a couple snaps last season when Cleland needed a breather after getting banged up, Imboden was much more productive with his snaps, Thomas is better at the wideout position but has a pretty decent arm and mobilityChief Kdogg wrote: Thu Apr 28, 2022 12:48 pmI read once on here that "NFL" was just below .500. Re: Meigs Football 2022
I know the comment was made as a joke but it’s actually pretty cool that most of our Head Coaches have playing and coaching D 1 backgrounds.
Technically all of the Coaches but staggs were “D1” and he could have been too but I can’t remember
Charley Chancey played and Coached at Marshall when they were Div 1.
Bob Ashley played sports at Mmmm Marshall when they were Div 1 (I’m not sure the total number of years he coached. I believe one of the years listed Charlie came back right before the season started and took back over)
Mike Chancey played at “The Ohio State University” and Coached at Ohio University.
Mike Bartrum played at Marshall when they were D1AA which is equivalent to to NCAA bowl sub division (National Champion) and current coaches there while they are D1. He always played and coached in the NFL.
David Tennant played for D1 Ohio University.
