Like the guy said are any of them kids still playing? I don’t get what it has to do with the topic of the page? Least Fort Frye still has 16 Srs that were apart of the final 4 team 2 years ago. Cadets were 2 yards away from the state championship. That game don’t help them now so it’s a new year.
Re: 2022 D6 R23.... Thoughts?
Does this mean you think those championship games will help Trimble win this region?Gray Cat wrote: Mon Jun 20, 2022 12:01 pmExactly!Ed Gennero wrote: Mon Jun 20, 2022 11:47 amHow many state championship games has FF been to ?EasternDspy wrote: Mon Jun 20, 2022 10:36 am

One thing you can bank on is whenever anyone constantly refers to a game in the past as a reason to claim superiority, especially a game they lost, you know they are not confident in the present. There isn't a single player still on the team from the two games he is referring to. So no, those games won't help them and this years team is a far cry from those two. Facts.

But back to 2022
To me. It’s FF turn. Their trophy case is calling a state trophy. It will be there before long. When I have no idea. But it’s coming. I got the Cadet train around 15/16/17 and it’s so nice to see assignment football played at its best. They win obviously because they are well coached FIRST and they don’t miss blocks, they don’t miss tackles, they play hard mistake free and eventually that recipe is gonna put that trophy in FF case.

Of all the people that would make a escuse. You were the last one that I thought I would be giving reasons as to why the cadets would fail.
They won’t fail.
Too disciplined. The trophy is Comin to Washington county. At some point.

Fort Frye fans in general, and ED'spy in particular, have been quite realistic about predictions for The Cadets. They are a heavyweight in this region, and people don't like to hear that their hometown team is going to get trounced.countywide35 wrote: Wed Jun 22, 2022 7:19 pmEasternDspy wrote: Wed Jun 22, 2022 5:04 pmcountywide35 wrote: Wed Jun 22, 2022 9:50 am But back to 2022

What would it take for Fort Frye to compete with the top 1% in the state? I just notice that some of these top 4 teams have 60-70 players in uniform, which has to help. Fort Frye is struggling to break 40 on the roster, and injuries were an issue all of last season.

I think it’s Fort Frye, N-Y, West Jefferson, and Fairland as the top 4 in this region in no particular order.
