Good to hear. Now get NC on the schedule too. That would be two really good tests in the regular season before getting all those running clocks and shutouts in the Hocking.TomcatFootball11 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 4:21 pmI heard we have a series starting with them soon, don't know what yearsBilly Brave wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 3:54 pmYou should pick up Fort Frye then.TomcatFootball11 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 3:37 pm

One can wish. I do like the first part of our schedule though for this year, wish we could of had Fort Frye still!Blue Tartan wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 4:34 pmGood to hear. What is wrong with you people? Our first five games consist of a D3, D4, D5, D6 and D7 team. All but one of those made the playoffs last year and won multiple games. Not much more we can do to beef up the schedule, and it's supposed to be a down year. I get it, for us a down year is 9-1 or 8-2 at worst, but down is down. Sorry you are butt hurt because we put a thumping on your favorite Hocking team every year, but we don't have a choice but to play them because they are in our league. So get over it. Geesh.Blue Tartan wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 4:34 pmGood to hear. Now get NC on the schedule too. Meigs (Guess's)
I'm not saying these as competitive games, these are just games i think would bring some even bigger than normal crowds to Marauder Stadium
1. Gallia Academy (Battle of the Border)
2. Southern (In county Rivalry/bring a lot of money to both schools)
3. River Valley (Some bad blood)
4. Athens (Meigs hates athens)
5. Wahama (WV) (Cross river Rival)
6. Wellston (Always a Dog Fight)
7. Nelsonville (Tvc matchup)
8. Trimble (Haven't Played them in a long time)
9. Jackson
10. Eastern (In county Rivalry/bring a lot of money to both schools)

For Marietta:
1. Meigs (would like to see matchups with different schools from Southern Ohio, maybe rotate schools every two years)
2. Ripley (has been a competitive series the past couple seasons)
3. Logan (SEOAL nostalgia game)
4. PHS (one of the oldest rivalries in the country)
5. Zanesville (traditional opponent)
6. Cambridge (traditional opponent)
7. Athens (traditional opponent)
8. Fort Frye (would be FF's Super Bowl, but rather play them than Williamstown for our "small school, big gate" game)
9. Point Pleasant (future TSL matchup)
10. Warren (rivalry game)

Ft Frye would beat you guys 9.5 out of 10 times you played. Not sure it would be their "Superbowl"pioneer19 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 5:42 pm For Marietta:

Fort Frye has wanted Marietta for years, it would definitely be their Super Bowl. As far as beating us, they will have their chance next year...but they need to be careful what they wish for with the talent we've got coming up the pipeline.Orange and Brown wrote: ↑Fri Jul 22, 2022 6:02 pmFt Frye would beat you guys 9.5 out of 10 times you played. Top tier MAC teams, Wheelersburg, Fort Frye and Ironton. That would be a great schedule

Can't Take Gallia Academy off the Schedule because it's a long time Series and it is pretty much a rivalry but Logan maybe but they could also renew the Ironton-Logan series.2trap_4ever wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 10:32 amTake off Logan and Gallia and add Cabell Midland and Spring Valley.IrontonTigers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 6:24 am IRONTON

There have been years when we would have gone 10-0 with that schedule. Maybe not this year coming but the next few would be good ones to do this.K00ND0GGER wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 1:59 pm Trimble:

Is that Warren JFK? If so, you'd have 3 of the better D7 teams in the state of Ohio on your schedule.K00ND0GGER wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 1:59 pm Trimble:
