How did the Buckeyes look?
TVC 2022
Re: TVC 2022
I was impressed with it being our first time on the field this summer. We looked really quick on both sides of the ball and have tons of skill position guys that will see action this year. I think our defense will be better then last seasons. Still trying to break in a new QB, could be a 2 or 3 horse race, one is a freshman. Will still be starting a lot of sophmores and juniors this year.
Re: TVC 2022
How did the line look? I know NY will be quick. They always are! The non conference is tough again this year so I would expect the Buckeyes to be ready when TVC Ohio play starts. Favorite until someone says otherwise.NY BUCK wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 12:52 pmI was impressed with it being our first time on the field this summer. I think the TVC Ohio will be much improved as a whole over last year. NY, VC, Athens, Alex, RV should all be better than a year ago. Meigs is a toss up and Wellston will have something to prove. I look for another exciting conference race. Can’t wait for it!
2023 Football Pick’em Regular season and Playoff Champion.
Re: TVC 2022
Unfortunately didn’t get to see the line much. Could be the biggest question mark for NY. Most return from last year that saw playing time, lose three from last years team. Will know more about them on the 6th when we head to Logan.Dundas wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 1:07 pmHow did the line look? I know NY will be quick. They always are! I think all those teams will be better as well. Should be a good year.

The road to the TVC title runs through Wellston in 2022.
The BEST thing about people from Wellston is that they have JACKSON on their license plates!
Re: TVC 2022
Yeah that's what it's sounding like 93 runs right through Wellston and straight to Vinton, you finally got one right.Wellston Ironman wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 10:05 am The road to the TVC title runs through Wellston in 2022.
Re: TVC 2022
Alls we been hearing about is how "great VC is going to be." Personally I can't wait to make the trip down there to show them what a good team and program is like. I can't believe anyone would have them rated higher that Nelsonville in the TVC Ohio. But it makes for good bulletin board material so maybe that's the point. People trying to get their own teams fired up.greygoose wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 11:42 amYeah that's what it's sounding like 93 runs right through Wellston and straight to Vinton, you finally got one right.Wellston Ironman wrote: ↑Tue Jul 26, 2022 10:05 am The road to the TVC title runs through Wellston in 2022.

Just wait till the whopper gets up on our varsity. We will get Daniel to move us up to the Ohio and beat all you guys. Maybe Meigs can’t beat Athens but we sure will.
Run the FB Belly and cram it up ther poop shoot!

Belpre is the only "lock" I see on there. Alexander could be if they were early in the season but who knows how big of a tumble Meigs will take from game 1 to game 10. That seems to be the M.O. the past few years, to get way worse as the season goes on.*D1* wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 10:23 am Meigs 2022 Football

Billy Brave just hasn’t been paying attention. Meigs coaching is top notch. Plus with the returning players and a few key recruits I see a deep run in playoffs.*D1* wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 10:23 am Meigs 2022 Football

I'm a huge meigs fan but you have got to be the most mentally insane person to ever post on here calling David Tennant top notch and what recruits? meigs didn't gain anybody, they lost two what would be starters in Kolten Thomas (went back to Southern for his senior year) and Matt Barr ( went back to wahama for his senior year)MarauderMadness wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 1:00 pmBilly Brave just hasn’t been paying attention. You have to be the biggest doofus I’ve ever seen on here. Tennant is first of all one of the best offensive football minds I have ever witnessed in this area. Above that he brings in assistants and coordinators whom are known for success everywhere he has been. And when it comes down to what it really means to be a good high school athletics coach, he molds young men into the best individuals they can be and is a phenomenal role model.Tvcfanatic wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 2:56 pmI'm a huge meigs fan but you have got to be the most mentally insane person to ever post on here calling David Tennant top notch and what recruits? meigs didn't gain anybody, they lost two what would be starters in Kolten Thomas (went back to Southern for his senior year) and Matt Barr ( went back to wahama for his senior year)MarauderMadness wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 1:00 pmBilly Brave just hasn’t been paying attention. Re: TVC 2022
Nothing like singing your own praises coach. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone saying you molded any young men into anything. Add a little work ethic to your repertoire and you might just become something of a role model though.on the black wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 9:14 pmYou have to be the biggest doofus I’ve ever seen on here. Hurting the feelings of the nadless wonders who are afraid to comment before the games.
Re: TVC 2022
Glad to see you're still on here ole bud. I remember a few years ago you posted that you were battling stage 4 cancer so glad you made it through that. But I doubt that Trimble even if they are running on empty will have any trouble in the TVC Hocking.
Re: TVC 2022
My sources tell me at least 4 kids who used to wear maroon will start on a TVC championship team wearing orange
Re: TVC 2022
Yep. Players from the area seem to be drawn to that "team wearing orange."
Re: TVC 2022
Maybe coaches also, seen a t v c coach in stands at scrimmage, filming illegally with his phone
