Meigs manhandles Fairland
Gonna be a great year. Our size was definitely a factor and you could see the difference in coaching. When was the last time we were undefeated? Will be nice to end that streak.

You’re literally setting them up to look bad now if they go under .500MarauderMadness wrote: ↑Sat Aug 06, 2022 4:06 pm Gonna be a great year. Our size was definitely a factor and you could see the difference in coaching. When was the last time we were undefeated? Will be nice to end that streak.

It was played in the rain on a terrible field. Meigs gained about 50 yards of offense and scored on a pick 6.

something doesn't make sense from what i was told by a coach who went to watch the game. can we get someone from fairland to confirm this?

Neither offense could move the ball, but in end of game stats meigs had more offensive yards than fairland, the field conditions were terrible but both teams had to play in those conditions not just one offense. Dry conditions both teams would of moved the ball better potentially. Honest opinion even in dry conditions i still think meigs gives fairland a run for their money

Field is actually amazing but they also played after 3 hours straight of pouring rain plus it poured the rain the whole scrimmage, in that situation any grass field is gonna become a mud pit

Re: Meigs manhandles Fairland
If we were to go by actual downs then fairland never scored, meigs stop them short of the first 4 downs which would have been a change in possession, but they continued to let fairlands offense play 10 more offensive snaps which led to a score when meigs subbed
