Can’t wait to hear the reasons Trimble is gonna stop this Pilot offense next week.

Trimble is always hard nosed and solid but they will definitely struggle to defend River’s athletes. Lots of well-built kids who can run for the Pilots. Should be a good game.

Left the game tonight very impressed with River. Their QB and receivers are really good. RB is big and tough to bring down. Don’t look like your typical D7 athletes. Pilots are going to win a lot of football games this season.

On the other side, looks like it is going to be another tough season for the Tigers. Only silver lining is a lot of young guys are going to be gaining valuable experience. Only four seniors on the team.

dream on

It’s incredible a school the size of Marietta has been so bad in football for years. Their basketball has had their moments, but should have been really good for a fairly long time. Ain’t easy, but the culture hasn’t been good. Wish you well 👍

Marietta winning Seasons since 1980:

1983: 6-3-1
1990: 7-3
1999: 6-4
2001: 7-3
2002: 8-3

That’s 5 winning seasons in 42 years. Just not a lot of tradition there when it comes to winning for football.

Trimble will see more speed and better athletes tonight. So, they'll be ready.

Trimble is not beating River. It’s just not happening. River is loaded.

If River has a weakness it’s the defense. Marietta moved the ball well all night. Also River kicking game was bad with Marietta starting at mid field most the night.

Okay. And I get it that you hate Trimble. No worries bud. We're used to people hating on us. When you win so much for so long, and throw in a couple state championship appearances, people gonna hate. You'll see what I mean if FF ever gets to the top of the mountain like that. Good luck with JG tonight. Hope you put it on them.

It’s hard to believe no winning season in 20 years. You’re right, just no tradition at Marietta really at any point in their modern history. I don’t know what it will take to change that.

They may win region 27. Be between them and Newark Catholic more than likely
