I think Waverly will be the sleeper that West has been pegged as. Or I am just putting a lot into just one week of football

Yeah I think you're putting a lot into the week 1 scores, West played a good Fairland team and at Fairland always a tough place to play. Now Waverly did come back against a MT team that is going to win some ball games so maybe a lot of us underestimated them. I still see Burg and West as 1/2 in some order, I had Waverly as my #3 going into the season at least after week 1 they're showing I might not be totally crazy.Jeaux Burreaux wrote: Sat Aug 20, 2022 10:25 pm

Check the backfields height over the last couple of years. Sparks is above 6’2” I am guessing.sportsfan2244 wrote: Sat Aug 20, 2022 6:14 pm The biggest kid ND has had in awhile has been Edgington, outside of him has been small lineman
Re: 2022 SOC1 & SOC2 Predictions
Qb was at least 6’, running backs were at least 6’. The line average height was below 6’. Facts.sportsfan2244 wrote: Sat Aug 20, 2022 6:13 pm Man… is there even a kid besides sparks over 6’2? I doubt it. You need to know what your talking about before making comments. This is why the Titans run the offense they do because it’s mostly angle blocks instead of head to head blocking. Losing one of your best players and your QB really hurts. Once again not having numbers does this. If a starter gets hurt, more than likely they are replaced by a freshman. My worry is how did the Titans opponent score 35 points in the 2nd half? I’ve always thought the defense has been suspect.

I definitely agree it’s Burg and a gap, I think 2nd is between West in Waverly will all depend on how each progress throughout the seasongreygoose wrote: Sat Aug 20, 2022 10:45 pmYeah I think you're putting a lot into the week 1 scores, West played a good Fairland team and at Fairland always a tough place to play. And let’s take the athletes always from their position and put them on the line and replace them with kids who shouldn’t run the ball. Re: 2022 SOC1 & SOC2 Predictions
Relaxgoat you officially are an idiot and not worth a reply anymore. Go back to thinking ND can run the table like they did in 70’s and 80’s and they have all kind of kids to choose from. You think they should go 10-0 every year. My last reply to you….. if your a man you will take it up with the athletic association.
Re: 2022 SOC1 & SOC2 Predictions
Yeah just gotta write that guy off, he's not here for the kids or the game he just has his own personal vendetta with Ashley. Not bringing anything to the table but complaints just write it off, he only knows jealousy.sportsfan2244 wrote: Sun Aug 21, 2022 7:11 am Relaxgoat you officially are an idiot and not worth a reply anymore. Re: 2022 SOC1 & SOC2 Predictions
not sure i would say no offense. remember we were playing arguably the most physically gifted DV secondary in history. maybe just maybe Irontons D made our offense struggle. do you honestly believe any SOC defense is anywhere near the caliber of Ironton??
here is my prediction... we go somewhere between 7-3 and 9-1 win yet another SOC Title... we will be totally prepared for playoffs and NOBODY and i mean NOBODY will want to draw us in the playoffs
Re: 2022 SOC1 & SOC2 Predictions
I wish we had a better passing attack as well, but it is funny reading how we’ll go 6-4 or 5-5 with this offense. It’s the same offense as last year…probably a little better.
Re: 2022 SOC1 & SOC2 Predictions
That’s about right. I thought 6-4 to 8-2, but given both KY schools lost, 7-3 to 8-2 sounds close. Archbishop McNich and Jackson are the toughest remaining games.Blitz wrote: Mon Aug 22, 2022 11:30 amnot sure i would say no offense. remember we were playing arguably the most physically gifted DV secondary in history. maybe just maybe Irontons D made our offense struggle. do you honestly believe any SOC defense is anywhere near the caliber of Ironton??

You are saying put the bigger kids in the backfield, and let the smaller kids play the line? No wonder you are a fan of this staff. That is exactly what they do. You know what? They lose.sportsfan2244 wrote: Sun Aug 21, 2022 7:09 amAnd let’s take the athletes always from their position and put them on the line and replace them with kids who shouldn’t run the ball. So you just want to put the tallest kids on the line and the shorter kids in the backfield? Is this real life? How has no one thought of that?
Re: 2022 SOC1 & SOC2 Predictions
I would say there are more kids who can run the ball than block bigger kids on the line. I feel like this is kindergarten and I have to really spell it out for you.Crab's Brother wrote: Wed Aug 24, 2022 3:39 pmRelaxGoat wrote: Wed Aug 24, 2022 3:34 pmYou are saying put the bigger kids in the backfield, and let the smaller kids play the line? Re: 2022 SOC1 & SOC2 Predictions
Spell it out.
I would love to know who is playing offensive line at ND that would be a better carrying the football than the kids that are now.
Please....Spell it out.

Re: 2022 SOC1 & SOC2 Predictions
I think you are a lost ball in high weeds. Games are won in the trenches. I am saying make the line better. Move small athletic off the bench to running back. Is that spelling it out clear enough for you?
