River 28 Trimble 18 2022
River 28 Trimble 18 2022
Suspiciously there hasn’t been much chatter yet about this game and it’s already Sunday evening…
I’ll start, River rolls down hill a fast and heavy. They don’t stop here to turn around and look at the Trimble cat road kill on their way out of town.
River 48
Trimble 14

River may name the score this week… or the cats may come out and play over their heads. Nothing in football is predictable other than the clock will strike zero and someone will win

Re: Week 2 River vs Trimble
River is good but like most small school very little depth , already lost a line starter for the season. Was beaten badly by Bellaire in their scrimmage.
Re: Week 2 River vs Trimble
I respect the program and culture that has been built at Trimble…definitely one of the most consistent teams in this part of the state year after year. I have no doubt they will be ready for this game. That being said, River is legit, with big athletes that can run all over the place, and a QB in Isaly who can really play. I think Trimble makes them earn it, but River pulls out the win. I’ll say 28-17 River.

River has a lot of speed from what I saw at Marietta. Trimble's field is grass isn't it?
That's a long bus ride for River so who knows. Did they ever play before?

Rooting for fellow TVC member Trimble.
Good luck and good health to both teams.

No matter the outcome both teams figure to be in the playoffs. Region 27 looks wide open but these two are more than capable of making a run.

Re: Week 2 River vs Trimble
The new staff at Eastern says Thimble should use the beating they are about to suffer from River as an example of what Eastern is going to give them. They seem really confident. So Thimble better watch out. But they did say they hope Thimble by some miracle can beat River because Eastern could use the playoff points.
Hurting the feelings of the nadless wonders who are afraid to comment before the games.

I’ll admit one thing River defense did not look amazing. Marietta was in its first year of the wing T and moved the ball pretty easy with a freshman Qb.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but just off top of my head, I recall Trimble playing them in 2008 and took a beating 45-15 in the playoffs.MetalheadGamer87 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 9:02 am River has a lot of speed from what I saw at Marietta. Trimble's field is grass isn't it?

Re: Week 2 River vs Trimble
Other than us not getting the playoff points from a Trimble win, I would like to see River double that 2008 score on them. Hopefully River will leave the starting defense in to preserve the shutout. It's high time Trimble gets to feel what it's like to have the score run up on them and excuses about, well we had two backups in on defense in the 4th Qtr and well we were working on our passing game in the second half while we were all ready up bye 50. Here's to hoping for a running clock.Glousterite wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 8:57 amFeel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but just off top of my head, I recall Trimble playing them in 2008 and took a beating 45-15 in the playoffs.MetalheadGamer87 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 9:02 am River has a lot of speed from what I saw at Marietta. Is there any local radio station that will carry the Trinble v River football game ?
