Teays Valley 17 Logan 7 2022
Teays Valley 17 Logan 7 2022
Logan defense will need to be up for another challenge this week with TV who played one of the best teams in the area last week in Chilicothe. The Vikings racked up 480 total yards of offense, averaging 7.3 yards per play.
For Teays Valley, Farmer was 16-of-22 passing for 209 yards alongside a touchdown and a pair of picks. Karshner tallied 19 carries for 147 yards and two scores, Richard Odum had 15 rushes for 131 yards, and Payne caught 13 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown.
Chiefs D needs to be ready to go!

Re: WEEK 2- Teays Valley (0-1) at Logan (0-1)
Across the board I think TV is better than Jackson.
And while they have a couple of very very nice individuals - 23 at receiver and 16 and 7 in the backfield - they probably don't have two as individually gifted as 7 and 8 for Jackson.
Teays will try to run it down your throat. If you let them. They'll also spread you out and exploit kids in space. So they pose some challenges.
Up front on both sides of the ball they are physical as anyone. That's their identity.
Linebackers and secondary are aggressive but disciplined. They'll take some chances. And that killed Logan last year.
Logan needs a much better offensive performance. They got zero push on the interior line last week. Need to be a lot more consistent from play to play from all positions.
Defense did a nice job last week overall, but way to many big plays and the same type Teays can hurt you with. And Logan will HAVE to match Teays physicality. Logan needs to do a better job of inflicting violence past the line of scrimmage instead of trying to absorb it.

Go check out Loganfootball.com for a new podcast with locos and Logan's Head Coach. Great listen! Coach Eddy has passion and it seems like its a new attitude for the players this season. Love to see and hear it! Kids have heart and guts and the mindset is different for 2022. I hope they can begin to build on some good wins and turn the corner.

Podcast is available on the homepage of LoganFootball.com and on Spotify. It should hit other podcast platforms soon - it just takes a little time to process on some of them (Esp. Apple).

Re: WEEK 2- Teays Valley (0-1) at Logan (0-1)
Logan has averaged 3.4 wins a season since Dale Amyx retired. Read that again. Now read it one more time. Look at the schedule this year and find me 4 wins.

17-7 With under two mins left Teays. Had alot of Mojo going into the half. Turnovers will kill ya everytime. I must say, I do not like the wing T.
