Game of the week here between two of the top OVC schools and even in the area. Ironton should handle Fairland pretty easily but you just never know with the Dragons. Fairland looks pretty big up front with some good skill guys in Hunt Leep and Kitts. I don’t think Fairlands defense will be able to keep up with guys like Perkins Felder Wilson Keyes and a lot more. Ironton wins it 35-20

As long as Ironton doesn't get caught looking ahead I feel like they win by 2-3 scores Ironton 34-14 Fairland. Ironton has to tackle better also first two games I've seen a lot of broken tackles given both teams have had good physical runners but it's no excuse really

As mentioned by some others before, don’t think Fairland can cover all of Irontons skill players, but Ironton D cannot sleep on this team either. On paper should be a 2 score game in Ironton’s favor. Would like to see Arris Pittman get more involved in the offense.

Hope both teams can stay healthy.

I don't feel like they're ignoring him in the gameplan on purpose I just think Carpenter has a lot of confidence in Perkins and for good reason but I feel like after Carpenter hits him a few times he will get the chemistry and confidence in him

How could they not be full of confidence headed to week 3.
