How many winning seasons has rock hills present staff had?

Not many… people thought with the current coaching staff things would change on the Hill but it’s the same ol thing. They try to run the program like the yesteryears at Ironton. However if you don’t that type of players it will not work…. And 4 years later it shows.

Well what was the the excuse the years before this staff?

Yes the TVC Ohio is as bad as it has been in a while. But NY will walk through and win a playoff game at home and the rest if any of them get in will get thumped in the first round.

What is going on Dundas? You know the program better than anyone. You said we should be better than last year. You said this year would be a bust without a conference title. Do you still feel that way Dundas? You have been Very quiet lately

This team will still battle for a conference title. The offense is off to a slow start but hopefully the right adjustments are made and things get going. Our defense played about as gutsy as you could tonight. Rock hill had the ball for over 35 minutes on offense. Kudos to the defense tonight. They didn’t much time off. Offensively, we need to open things up. I fully expect VC to bounce back. As for this game, Rock Hill did everything they needed to do. They played keep away on offense. It was a great game to call and an epic finish. Fans definitely got their moneys worth tonight.

Can we all please stop the nonsense talk about competing for a league title when we are 0-2 and just got beat by Rock Hill. Lets just focus on getting better and getting a win

I watched this game on YouTube last night.
My takeaways are this.
1. Vinton County needs to open up the offense. I have a hard time believing that they can't throw the ball more.
2. Seems like the coach hyped up the team a lot coming into the season. Bad move. Don't set unrealistic expectations.
3. The offense needs some work

5. Good punter, the kid can flip the field.
Finally I'll say this. Their are some athletes on the field, USE THEM.
VC Barely had the ball but I don't think more possessions would equal points last night.

There 2 best players wore Blue & Gold last year. I’d hate to see what they’d look like without them. Coach does a great job hyping up expectations.

Having high expectations for the season and saying we are better than the likes of Cambridge/Point Pleasant/FF are two different things. VC still has a chance to have a sold year. We will see how the kids bounce back next Friday.

Even though I did play the game, I still wouldn’t need to commentate and act like I know everything. I will say this, whether you agree or not, the talent is not being used correctly and kids have not been put in the right position to succeed. Hopefully at least 1 adjustment will be made this Friday to give these kids a chance against a very beatable Trimble
