Ironton should win this game again this year but let's not look well past Fairland here

Ironton has been game of the week three weeks in a row and for good reason. Quite an opening schedule. Tigers roll by two scores but the Dragons will fight hard! Good luck and good health to each team.

Guess Tiger fans will just have to take over home side also.
used to do that down at portsmouth west's old dump

You don’t think Fairland OR Johnson Central will give them a run for their money?

Maybe give them a run ,but I don't see Ironton losing a regular season game now,I honestly thought Jackson would get them
Really, JC has outscored their first two opponents 92 - 27 against an always tough Lexington Lafayette and Fern Creek. They were last years Ky 4A state runner up while finishing the season without their recently deceased head coach. They are playing with a vengeance this season to go undefeated and win the state championship to honor Coach Matney. All opponents better play the game of their life if they expect a win against the Golden eagles

Fairland will play tough for a half. But I believe Ironton wins by 3 scores.

Ironton will win Big! This isn’t the same Fairland team as last year.

I’ve been to both Fairland games so far, left Wellston at the half to watch Ironton in Jackson. I can tell you that Ironton showed me a completely different level of football that I honestly don’t think Fairland can reach. I think the Dragons keep it close for a quarter and a half and then Ironton pulls away in the second half.

Ironton 34
Fairland 14

As always, Ironton has another great recruiting class this year so they will be tough to beat. Dragons will fight hard with what they have. Strong QB and defense from Fairland might not be enough.

I think the only way Dragons hang around is with some big plays. They will have to play perfect to even keep it close.

Ironton should win by 3 scores only if the pass defense tightens up.
The O-line and D-line are improving every week and that was thought to be the weak point of this team.
Should be a good game for at least the 1st half Fairland truly gets up for this game.

Fairland is lucky they have any players that are willing to play in that dump.

BUILD IT & THEY WILL COME.

T’Was built many MANY Decades ago.

They keep coming & in return, it makes ALL other local squads try harder.

A WinWin
