Lol. No. They're only allowed to hold em back once.. an it's within the rules. Not making excuses, only stating facts.. jus pondering how they'd be doin if they were in the class in which they started..like most kids..

Lol that's hilarious. I know nothing about this team, but I definitely think it's ridiculous how many people do the hold me back game to make their kids look better.

The "Early Redshirt" at this point is what it is. So many schools are doing it with the "Pre K" and "Pre 1st" or whatever they want to call it. Then take into account some of these kids still get held back through the normal progression for academic reasons. I know of one such case where a kids going to be going on 14 years old in the 6th Grade!
It is what it is. It sucks if you're one of the fewer and fewer schools not doing it and having your kids compete against much more developed competition. But maybe our schools need to start considering it too.

But if you're on the end of it and think it doesn't make a difference, you're lying to yourself.
