With all due respect no local team is running for 400 on Fort Frye. I love Williamstown this year I picked them to win state. That being said WV teams have struggled Vs the Cadets.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 10:06 pmI’m just sayin. I gotta side with DSpy on this. Fort Frye will beat Williamstown by 30 if all their guys are healthy. Williamstown would be an above average small school Ohio team but they wouldn’t be relevant on a state level. I could be wrong but that game won’t be close.EasternDspy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 10:25 pmWith all due respect no local team is running for 400 on Fort Frye. Rooting for our Washington county rival Warren but expecting Logan to win, they have played better teams than Warren.
Good luck and good health to both teams.

By better teams do you mean 2 teams with losing records compared to 2 undefeated teams ranked in top 5 in their respective state classifications? This game is pretty evenly matched but Logan’s offense is very vanilla. If Warren can’t beat them, they’re in for a looonnnng season.

Fort Frye will not beat Williamstown by 30. Get off their wagon beg. Their wheels are about to fall off in the next 2 years. These tough schedules they’re playing because everyone is afraid to play them will take it’s toll eventually. By week 10 Fort will be healing up for the playoff push.beg003 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 11:30 pmI gotta side with DSpy on this. Fort Frye will beat Williamstown by 30 if all their guys are healthy. Just a side note. Williamstown remembers what Fort Frye did to their QB last year. If I were you dspy, I’d get yourself some popcorn, sit in the student section, and enjoy watching that kid run over, through, and around your defense this year. I can confidently assure you, I’ve never been on that wagon. I’m just realistic about the difference between a state-level Ohio program and a Single A WV program. I don’t actively root for FF or am in awe of what they do. I respect their program and recognize the difference in WV and OH high school football. Just go back and find FF’s scores vs Williamstown and us. They beat them worse than they do us typically.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 9:26 amFort Frye will not beat Williamstown by 30. Re: WK4 Warren (1-2) @ Logan (0-3)
By better I mean a tougher schedule. Logan's schedule has been much tougher than Warren's regardless of anyone's opponent's record.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 9:19 am

Warren's lone win is against a much smaller and probably the worst team Belpre has ever fielded, no disrespect to our boys but you can't build a program with no off-season program which is where Belpre has been the past 2 years. Morgan maybe undefeated at this point in the season but their record will suffer once their conference season starts. While Williamstown is favored to get back to Wheeling, I doubt they would go 3-0 playing Logan's first 3 opponents.
Just my opinion.

Not normally for Logan bc they have a contract with NFHS. Not sure about Warren

Of all the dumb comments that are made on here, this might be the dumbest. If you're going to post, at least have some semblance of what you are talking about. Fort Frye's run defense is outstanding - it always is. Williamstown is very good but they have not been able to run it right at Fort Frye with much success. Hardly anyone can.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 10:06 pmI’m just sayin. Williamstown would run for 400 yards against anyone around here and they includes Fort Frye. They had similar schedule and injuries last year. I do think it will be closer this year but 400 yards rushing is not happening. I don’t think a Coach Ross defense has ever allowed 400 rushing not even Kirtland.Notsofastmyfriend wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 9:26 amFort Frye will not beat Williamstown by 30.
