Trimble 20 - 28 Cincinnati Woodward 2022

Post by thirtyonetrap »

Will this be another brake beating beatdown suffered by the wee cats? Or will they finally get things going? Thoughts?

The best thing the Tomcats can say about this season so far is they are not providing any second level playoff points to their opponents. But the worst thing is the reason they aren't is because they are O'fer. Has to suck to be a Tomcat right now. But the TVC Hocking is just around the corner so they'll get healthy soon. Unfortunately it looks like Eastern and Waterford will be tough wins for them. But Southern, Belpre and SG will be easy blowouts and they can get a few shutouts and work on the passing game in the 4th quarter against them with a running clock. And we might even get to hear Gray Cat, Superman, and Queen Cat brag about beating the brakes off of them.

What's your deal bro? You constantly go from topic to topic and stir stuff up. You claim to be 2022 TVC champs but havnen't played a conference game yet. All you are doing is putting a target on your school's back and making it tougher for the kids and coach.

Hey, alls we heard from Thimble the past few years is how they beat the brakes off of everyone they played. Just giving a little back to them. Why do you care, "bro"?

Trimble isn’t just on the struggle bus.

They are driving the struggle bus.

That's what happens when you replace a state champion coach in the Jr High program with daddy and g'pa ball. It's too late for this year but at least they had a reality check and have now corrected the problem. Should be back on top as the premier small school program in SEO soon enough as a result.

Well. That’s good. But maybe more of returning to competing football. Not premier.

Fort Frye right now holds the premiere program title of the “super small” schools.

“Small school” reign willl always be Ironton and Burg in SEO.

How possible is it that a Trimble football team goes 0-10?

Zero chance this year unless Belpre ducks them. My guess is 3-7 at worst if Southern, SG and Belpre all play them.

Well you answered my next question of thoughts would be if they could maybe salvage a winning season.

They could go 5-5. No one really knows yet if Eastern is for real or not, and Waterford is 1-3 so they are beatable. If I had to wager I would say 5-5 at best and 3-7 at worst for this year. But if they somehow win this week look out because they'll end up 6-4 and rolling into the playoffs.

2 of Waterford’s loses to fort and williamstown would have beaten anyone in the tvc Ohio or hocking that said Trimble is still the team to beat
