Re: Game of week? Fairland at Gallia picks
Well the rock hill game has me wondering about Fairland right now. At the same time there’s simply nothing impressive about Gallia’s schedule up to this point. Going with Fairland by 7 but this could be a staple game if Gallia could pull out the W.

I’ll take the Dragons in this one. If they can stop or slow down Fellure** then they’ll be fine.

Dragons had 11 or so players sitting last week for disciplinary reasons. All should be back this week.

On the road after a shaky week on & off field for Dragons vs an undefeated hosting Blue Devil squad. Both got a ton to play for. Fairlands in danger of being left out of the conf champ convo w a loss. GA could solidify its run and set up a HUGE conf clash with the Fighting Tigers down the road, and CG next week. Likely a high energy, high emotion contest. I think Fairland wins this going away. GA may not be quite ready for the moment, but crazier things have also happened.
Dragons.

Gallia did not impress me vs Portsmouth, lots of fumbles. Not sure if Portsmouth is good or Gallia just played bad. Can’t use the field as a advantage because both schools play on horrible grass. But I think fairland wins by a score.

Should be a really good game, taking Fairland in a close one

It's not a good excuse. But history has showed that the blue devils do not play well on Friday nights that they don't have school Friday day. And that reared its ugly head again this past Friday. expect blue devils to play much better this week. I am not sure if that will be good enough or not so early in the week i havent looked at fairland a lot yet.

That is one thing I do agree with you on. Not sure why, but it’s a trend for some reason with this football program. Gallipolis expected for Portsmouth to roll over for them and just went through the motions until basically the 4th quarter. Definitely not a good showing for the Blue Devils. Portsmouth and Gallia Academy looked pretty sad Friday night

Hopefully last week was a wake up call for the Blue. I think with the strong senior leadership and a very talented group of now experienced juniors, we won’t see any repeats of last week where we weren’t 100% focused. Turnovers, penalties and special teams may be the difference in this matchup between 2 talented and well coached squads. Better fundamental team wins this one, IMO.

Pulling for Gallia to put one on the Dragon Breaths. Should be a good one.

Hoping our coach hires someone qualified to call the offense.
