Post by biggdowgg »

From what I'm reading our young kids should get some PT , but you really don't know just didn't see a thread so thought I'd start one.

Go TROJANS

Peake is terrible. Trojans running clock. Rest some dinged up kids for the fairland game. 45-10 Trojans.

It will be a great opportunity for the Trojans to give any of their banged up or injured players a chance to maybe rest up and heel a little before the stretch run.

At 3-3, the Trojans' next 3 games are must wins for a good playoff spot. Right now, they're 8th and probably won't drop any if they can topple the Panthers, Dragons, and Pointers.

If coal grove can beat gallia that would be huge points for Portsmouth. I think I’ll take that game on Friday. I’m not driving to Chesapeake for a running clock. Trojans huge Friday.

Long night for Peake once again. They may score a few points this week though. Especially if Portsmouth only plays starts for a half or so.

On the road after a big win against a 2-4 team. I'm not surprised they came out flat. If they don't come out firing in the second half then we might be in trouble.

Trojans didn’t play their best game tonight. A win is a win so I’ll take it. Chesapeake actually played really tough. 2nd half run defense was better than the first. Special teams needs A LOT of work. Also not shaming Hammond, but Truett should be the starting RB. He runs a lot harder, he’s faster and stronger, doesn’t dance around. I’ve said this for weeks now. The difference is night and day between the 2. Starters didn’t get any rest, but neither did Fairlands against South Point. Big matchup next week for playoff position, maybe even a home playoff game.

Every OVC team is severely disappointing this year besides Ironton, speaking from a Gallia fan. Ironton is the only real team who has a pretty good shot to make a run in the playoffs. When it comes down to week 11&12 it’s depends mostly on physical toughness I-Town the only team to have that this far. Yet with the playoff being increased to 16 per region you should win your 1st game unless you’re seeded bad because you’re bad.

Trojans win but that first half was terrible. As stated truett should be your starting back. Trojans need to win 2 of the last 3 to possibly get a home playoff game. They dropped from 8 to 9. Was hoping coal grove beat gallia but Gallia the surprise ovc team. Be nice to win the last 3 they would definitely be at home.
