I was at the game Friday and was really surprised by how few of students from oak hill was at the game. I didn’t even see a student section in the stands. From the few oak hill fans I spoke to it seemed morale is really down right now and they talked like that’s not going to be changing any time soon.

No, they did not. Not sure where you got this.

On the arbiter site, both Northwest and Oak Hill are on Burg’s schedule for next season…hopefully we would drop Russell and keep playing Jackson…
Burg playing @ Jackson in Week 3 next year. Only open date for Burg is Week 6 and they looking for a home game.*

Oak Hill from 2007-2019 had a nice run of athletes and was well coached. The 2007-2010 seasons might be the best run of athletes Oak Hill may ever have. Unfortunately, many small schools go through cycles. Oak Hill just happens to be going through a downward cycle currently. Here was their records for those seasons

2007: 5-5
2008: 7-3
2009: 11-1
2010: 11-2
2011: 2-8
2012: 9-3
2013: 8-3
2014: 7-3
2015: 6-4
2016: 5-5
2017: 7-3
2018: 8-3
2019: 5-5 (SOC2)

they're like Northwest and Valley in my mind, too big for SOC1 but too small for SOC2

Need to work on your counting John! Speaking of counting, what is this your 5th or 6th account?

Southern Ohio continues to shrink. Some of these schools may not exist in 10 years.

Green, one of the smallest schools in the area, just got a brand new stadium, track (for the first time) and turf -- schools are being built.

Easy night for burg. The one dimensional offense wont be pressed to make plays so they'll be ok.

Always remember no one makes young men play football they must want and have the drive to play you give up alot of free time to do so-kids now really do not want to play football in any league-kids now are finding more things to do than give all their time to practice-saying that who is coaching makes a difference that is a bunch of BULL --The school spirit and pride and RAH RAH is GONE-Daddy ball and participation trophies are gone! The numbers at OAK HILL reflect the area and times kids do not play outside much any more to easy to score touchdowns and homeruns on tv.We as a society want to blame everyone else but ourselves the truth to the matter we have less than twenty kids on Friday nights doing their best to compete come cheer them on or not but do not come on here and blame everyone for the downfall look in mirror that where you should start i am a OAKS FAN win or lose GO OAKS!

There will be uneven number (7) of teams in SOC II next season when Northwest comes back. So every team going to have an open date during conference play (Weeks 4-10) and will have to find a nonconference opponent for their open week. Will make football scheduling only harder and probably force teams to have to travel for games.*

Wonder why NW is being put back up to SOCII!!! It's not like they were dominating SOCI!!! Oak Hill should move back down then

I agree, Oak Hill doesn't need to be in SOCII

This is the same situation for the TVC Ohio. VC and Northwest will be playing week 7 next year as it is the non conference week for both schools. Maybe the SOC and TVC could make some sort of crossover agreement in the future?
