Hard to believe a QB change to help much when the play calling is what it is. Which was the same calling as last year. The talent is there to open it up more.

Trubisky didn't play that bad, IMO. He had a 81.1 rating which isn't great but not bad. The problem is the Steeler defense missing Watt. Brissett had a lot of time to throw and the Browns dominated the time of possession. Watt almost single handily beat the Bengals himself. Steelers will be tough to beat again when he comes back. Also the Steelers only had 104 team rushing yards which isn't typical for good Steeler teams.

Ben did not throw downfield much last year. Yes his arm was going but Canada was the OC calling plays last year. After the next game the schedule is tough games for a wNo matter who is the QB.

Tomlin's coaching record speaks for itself. Never had a losing season. Don't expect one this year either.

In an article I read.

A "majority" of Steelers offensive players, as a result, want a coach fired. That coach is offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

Canada's offense feels both mundane and outdated. And now, it appears Steelers offensive players are getting impatient.

I have seen this scenario before. They’ll regroup, and be fine. Especially after Watt returns. Team needs a player to lead them, Watt is that man.
