Let’s see if the Bobcats hang their head or come out fired up. Tough task but anything can happen. Go Cats!

NW pulls away in the 2nd half and takes it by 2-3 scores.

Serious question, not trying to bash or complain. Does Green still get extra Computer Points for playing up three divisions? Or does that not count because it is a conference game? Just wondering how that works.

They do. But they must win the game to get them.

I think this one gets ugly. Northwest by 28 or more. Green absolutely needs some sort of passing game. They would probably be 7-0 right now. They were exposed by notre dame thru the air and notre dame never throws. Keep doing good things green and play as hard as you can.

NW. Green is not very good. Their 6-1 record is very misleading and NW is way too physical for the Bobcats. ND ran sweeps all night on the bobcats and if NW can just throw the ball a little bit then this game won't be close.

If green controls the clock they have a shot, if it turns into a shoot out NW takes it.

Northwest is 27-9 vs Green all time. Green’s wins came in (with their record in parentheses):

1980 (6-4)
1982 (6-3-1)
1983 (4-6)
1989 (11-1)
1990 (11-1)
1999 (3-7)
2001 (5-5)
2012 (3-7)
2018 (7-3)

Isn't NW the largest school district in Scioto County?

I believe so. They are moving up next year and been told they have wheelersburg and the other SOC teams on the schedule next year. Beating up the small school is over. But for years they took a beating as well.

Largest as in land mass or enrollment? Cause it's not the largest by enrollment

In square miles yes in enrollment no. Burg is I believe. There is 616 square miles in Scioto County and Northwest and West almost takes up half the County.

Northwest rolls in this one. Just too physical for Green. Green still a lock for playoffs though and cool to see them having success first year in new stadium.*

Just for some perspective, here’s the last time Northwest beat each SOC2 School:

Minford: 2005
Oak Hill: 2022
Portsmouth West: 1998
Valley: 2022
Waverly: 2010
Wheelersburg: 1970

Here’s their record against each school:

Minford: 18-44
Oak Hill: 5-11
Portsmouth West: 3-51
Valley: 15-44
Waverly: 3-36
Wheelersburg: 8-46
