Aaron Judge hits #62

In the 161st game of the season, Aaron Judge of the Yankees hit his AL record 62nd home run...breaking the record set in 1961 by Yankee Roger Maris.

Coincidence??? Maris wore number 9...he hit his 61 homer in the 161st game. Sixty-one years later, Judge-who wears number 99-hit his 62nd home run in his 161st game.

Talk about oddity....

I was watching black and white TV when Maris hit his 61st. Think Mantle hit 54 that years with missing a lot of games with injuries. A lot of people at that time said Mantle would have had more if it wasn't for the injuries.
