Re: WK8 Nelsonville-York - Alexander
This had to be the worst officiating I’ve ever saw. That being said congrats to NY for picking up a win and good luck to Alex the remainder of the season.

Those flags will have to be retired after this game. They spent more time on the turf than they did the refs pockets.Old Buckeye wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 9:50 pm This had to be the worst officiating I’ve ever saw. Ain’t that the truth! I literally watched one official have his half way out of his pocket before every play.Run baby run wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 10:00 pmThose flags will have to be retired after this game. I've never heard of a team getting back to back sideline warnings the first 2 plays of the game.Old Buckeye wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 10:08 pmAin’t that the truth! Nice win for NY. Thanks to everybody who updated scores. My phone refuses to work at Boston Field.

Re: WK8 Nelsonville-York - Alexander
Refs tried to control the game. A lot of late hits on Alexander, and then N y would retaliate and get flagged.

I saw a game with 12 sideline penalties last year. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same crew.Run baby run wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 10:11 pmI've never heard of a team getting back to back sideline warnings the first 2 plays of the game.Old Buckeye wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 10:08 pmAin’t that the truth! Re: WK8 Nelsonville-York - Alexander
Alexander had at least 6 personal fouls and they had to be from just trash talking because it only got chippy a couple of times. One ref threw a flag standing 12 yards behind the huddle while the other officials were talking about the first flag thrown loldanicalifornia wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 11:22 pmI saw a game with 12 sideline penalties last year. Gosh this is so true. I was saying this. Before they even got on the line he was grabbing the flag. NO penalty could have been committed at that point and he was on the trigger. And toward both teams btw.so weird. Does anyone know a total on the number of flags? Dying to know.Old Buckeye wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 10:08 pmAin’t that the truth!
