This is the atmosphere and mind set that was installed by this staff and no doubt it will continue as long as we have 20 guys roaming the sideline that is there for themselves and not the kids. As a head coach, superintendent, or AD How do you have an assistant with a mindset to trip a player and laugh about it, A crooked preacher that belittles players, a felon that just spent 3 years in prison for killing someone? And i could go on. Terrible to have these types of people around the kids.
The board really allowed the last thing you described?

Who’s the murderer??
Not mentioning names, but you know exactly who. Beat a guy to death in Athens, charged with involuntary manslaughter and is a felon, and is a board approved assistant and walks our sidelines on Friday. Along with a state trooper that trips opposing players, 😂. Unbelievable

Very bad look for Vc , the football team and the coaches represent the school , I can’t believe the folks in vinton county want this to be how the community is perceived

Kinda makes the story that kids from VC destroyed our locker room at RV a little more plausible. I mean who lets theur kids Piss on an other schools uniforms. Por leadership I tell ya.

I thought I heard that was incorrect and all that was caused by a backed up sewer system. If I'm correct, the person who outed that accusation already publicly apologized?

Is this all real, I mean really.
Or is this the next episode of Days of our lives?

VC football program needs looked at top to bottom.

Eventually where there is smoke is there fire?
Seems like something new every week.

Chuck wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 12:44 am As a member of Vinton County, I just want to apologize for the incident that happened at the football game Friday night. In my near 20 years of being a resident here, I have never felt so sick to my stomach then what I do right now. The video I watched is absolutely absurd and appalling! I have done so much voluntary coaching here that I would never in a million years dream that this is the acceptable behavior we want our "Leaders" to install into our student athletes. The really sad part is this incident is a black eye on our community. I have always thought that Vinton County Athletics always took pride in the amount of class that we try to show during events, but I am totally shocked. The gentleman in the video is shockingly a leader in non sports events as well in our community and in my opinion should be forced to step down from there as well. To the young athlete from Nelsonville that was victim of this, I myself as a member of the Vinton County community want to say sorry that you had to endure this public embarrassment and hyannis incident by a member of the coaching staff.
In my experience with vinton county fans at sporting events they usually never carry themselves with that much class

I agree. If coaches are doing this I’m sure the kids are running wild too. Makes me think all these accusations of poor behavior in the past are probably true. Might want to look at a coaching/culture change next year

There’s a link in the first couple pages. It’s a blatant trip. It looks bad

I wouldn’t be shocked if nothing happens. I heard from someone he’s also a state highway patrolman. If I were the coach I would get guys like that far away from my program. Sounds like thats the kinda environment they entertain though

Where's the discipline and who is in control of that?

I would assume the head coach could just let him go or it could go up to the athletic director or school board. I saw a post on the vc football Facebook page that it’s already been addressed but I don’t know what they decided
