Sorry, the source I was using had the game at Dover. Still another marquee win for Linsly, over a much larger school.blackshooky wrote: Sat Oct 15, 2022 6:20 pmlinsly vs dover was a “home” game for linsly and was played at west liberty universitySteely Dan wrote: Sat Oct 15, 2022 9:20 am Cadets play their second WV opponent to close out the regular season. Williamstown is not Linsly, not even close. I like the Cadets in this game. Linsly just beat Division II Dover last night, in Dover, after beating Steubenville, in Steubenville last week. I'll take FF by 14 in this one.

Without looking at the schedule's of both schools, have they played any common foes this season?

FF names the score. Williamstown is a run dominant team and that type of team just does not beat a team like FF.

I just don’t agree with this “name the score narrative “. Williamstown is one of the best teams the Cadets have faced.bigblue52 wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 11:23 am FF names the score. Williamstown is a run dominant team and that type of team just does not beat a team like FF.

Just my thoughts after watching both teams. Linsly would beat Williamstown very badly imo.EasternDspy wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 1:59 pmI just don’t agree with this “name the score narrative “. So what’s your prediction?
I hope your right but I got it like 42-27

I see it 49-14 range . Being only the 4th home game and senior night cadets will be ready I just don’t see williamstown being able to run the ball and if they have to pass could get ugly , but I didn’t think Caldwell would stay with fort for a half eitherEasternDspy wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 6:12 pmbigblue52 wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 3:34 pmJust my thoughts after watching both teams. Caldwell can throw it better than williamstown. I just don’t see williamstown being able to run their regular offense and be able to stay on schedule with it. Williamstown isn’t going to push Fort Frye around, which is what they rely on doing. My guess is 42-10 or so.Buckeye2021 wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 6:31 pmI see it 49-14 range . I'd say somewhere in the 49-7 to 49-14 rangeEasternDspy wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 6:12 pmbigblue52 wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 3:34 pmJust my thoughts after watching both teams. Linsly would beat Williamstown very badly imo.EasternDspy wrote: Sun Oct 16, 2022 1:59 pm

Re: WK 10: Williamstown (7-0) @ Fort Frye (8-1)
FF is a bad matchup for Williamstown because they play the same type of game, but just do it better. FF struggled with Linsly because they were so athletic and could make plays in space. Williamstown is not that.

FF takes control late

Cadets should come out more fired up in this one than they did last week. They looked like they sleepwalking last week.

Williamstown is good but they haven’t played anyone capable of challenging them. Fort Frye has. Schedule strength shows this late in the season. No way Fort loses 2 at home this year.

As the coach from Buckeye Trail said Owen Brown is just built different.
Re: WK 10: Williamstown (7-0) @ Fort Frye (8-1)
The Fort needs to come out and put it to Williamstown. Fort has started slow the last 2 games. I don’t think they want to let Williamstown get some momentum. Hit em hard and fast.
Re: WK 10: Williamstown (7-0) @ Fort Frye (8-1)
Hard to see how FF does not come out and start fast and continue that throughout the game. Lot of seniors on their ballclub and they're gonna wanna put it on Willamstown on their senior night.
