Huge week for FAC football! If Chillicothe were to defeat Jackson on Friday, it would create a three-way-tie in which Jackson, Chillicothe, and Washington all shared the title. If this were to happen, that would make four of the six FAC teams that have won at least a share of the title in just six years. Wow! People like to compare Jackson in the FAC to Clinton Massie in the SCOL but in all reality this is a very competitive conference! McClain is the only team that has never really been in contention for the league title but they are improving. Also, all six teams in the conference are either in the playoffs or have a shot to be in at this point in the season. A lot of haters that just want the FAC to fail but it is going strong!

I’ve never heard anyone compare Jackson to Clinton-Massie. That’s not a knock on Jackson they have the best program in the FAC but Clinton-Massie is and was a different animal with 3 state titles, a runner-up and 5 regional championships. I don’t think many in SEO realize the caliber of program Dan McSurley has built over in Clinton County.

Looks like Chillicothe will travel to London for a week 2 rematch. Usually a team is much better week 11 than week 2 but in Chillicothe’s case I’m not sure a very winnable game but without max lee on in the run game and especially on defense Chillicothe is limping into the playoffs
