This game is an example of why the state should have stayed with 6 divisions and 8 teams per region making the playoffs

Agreed. Not that anyone reading this will have any jnfluence but….. if Ohio wanted to expand playoffs they would have been better served to leave it at 8 per region and then go to 8 divisions.

Before expansion, 224 schools made playoffs. Now we let 448 schools in and we get playoff appearances by schools with zero chance …..ahem…..this one. My idea would let in 256 schools and would have kept the matchups decent. But we all know why we have what we have. Money for the OHSAA.

It's all fun and games until some kid playing for a team that is completely outmatched gets a serious injury playing against a team they would not normally be matched up against-----Sure, it could happen during any game, but these types of games don't need to happen. They serve no real purpose for either team.

Harvest Prep is a Christian private school so they can get kids from all over the world. It doesn't matter. Strap em on and go for it. I picked them and Ironton in regional final. I wasn't sure who would pan out in the other regions but I believe Prep can run the table.
