Do you think CG might try to throw early? I'm thinking he'll get a good chance for pick #9 early, and if he gets it, the game's as good as over.
They scored 47 points and only passed on a 2 point conversion.

Fairland was better 2 years ago than this year and they still beat Coal Grove 21-6Team ovc wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 1:39 pmGuess it’s a good thing this isn’t 2 years agoEasternDspy wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 1:32 pmTeam ovc wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 1:16 pm
I’m not sure why the OHSAA don’t just go ahead an cancel the remaining D-6 games and give the championship to the Cadets since apparently they have the best running back in the state, the best linebacker in the state and also the best CB in the state.

You ignored the stuff I said about what Fort did to Fairland 2 years ago.
Also Point lost to Gailia by 1.
Fort Frye beat Point 44-0

Will there be under 10 passes thrown in this game? With limited passing this game might be over by 830 pm.

That’s the dumbest thing I ever heard. So your saying Fort Frye beats Ironton by 30?Fanatic wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 3:28 pm How was Coal Grove when they played Ironton?

That’s not what he’s saying stop taking everything literal. He’s saying Fort Frye has been really good this year and has shown up in big games.
Re: Round 3- #5. Coal Grove (8-4) Vs # 1. Fort Frye (11-1)
That’s not at all what he’s saying. He’s trying to compare scores from different games to show how bad you will win or he wouldn’t have thrown in the Ironton and Coal grove score. You know comparing games like that has nothing to do with the outcome of another game. Teams matchup differentEasternDspy wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 4:30 pm That’s not what he’s saying stop taking everything literal. Fort Frye might not be as good as Ironton but they are closer to Ironton than Coal Grove is to Fort Frye. #Seeyousaturday

If only coal grove could stop an offense, if only.
Re: Round 3- #5. Coal Grove (8-4) Vs # 1. Fort Frye (11-1)
If Fort Frye needs to score 70, they’ll score 70. Little Dad doesn’t coach D.
Re: Round 3- #5. Coal Grove (8-4) Vs # 1. Fort Frye (11-1)
Team ovc seems a little touchy.
Your the one who implied the loss to Fairland was because you weren’t at 100%
You played Ironton the week before, I asked if you were 100% for that game.
And the dumbest thing you ever heard are actual scores from this season.
You are free to draw your own conclusions.
Would Fort Frye beat Ironton by 30, no way of knowing, but we’ll see if they can beat Coal Grove by 30 Friday.
Hopefully a good injury free game.

Coal Grove defense has been so bad and Fort Frye is second in the state in ppg.

Defense and special teams will have to improve drastically for Coal Grove this week.
Re: Round 3- #5. Coal Grove (8-4) Vs # 1. Fort Frye (11-1)
Coal Grove will be one of top 5 teams Fort Frye has played. I don't think Fort Frye will be up by 40 or 50 at halftime - like other playoff games so far.Team ovc wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 1:16 pmI’m not sure why the OHSAA don’t just go ahead an cancel the remaining D-6 games and give the championship to the Cadets since apparently they have the best running back in the state, the best linebacker in the state and also the best CB in the state.EasternDspy wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 11:09 am Not that it matters this game but Cadets defense has one of the best Cbs in D6 in Braxton Brown. Fort Frye is, at worst, the second-best team Coal Grove will have played, and they've lost 4. We're going to have the game, and it starts at 0-0. If The Hornets win, it will not make me mad, but it will flat-out amaze every high school football fan who isn't a Coal Grove Hornet.
Good luck.

If we get bad rain it might help Coal Grove

If Coal Grove plays defense like they did for 3 quarters against West Jefferson and can move the ball and control the clock I believe it will be a good game.efarns wrote: Thu Nov 10, 2022 11:55 amCoal Grove will be one of top 5 teams Fort Frye has played. Not asking for much are you? Yeah if Fort Frye doesn’t run, pass or tackle all night then it will be a good game. If they play like they have all season it will be over by mid third quarter at the latest.Team ovc wrote: Thu Nov 10, 2022 1:09 pmIf Coal Grove plays defense like they did for 3 quarters against West Jefferson and can move the ball and control the clock I believe it will be a good game.efarns wrote: Thu Nov 10, 2022 11:55 amCoal Grove will be one of top 5 teams Fort Frye has played. You don't have to win the game on this forum. Let it play out.
You have to admit, IF Coal Grove moves the ball and controls the clock, it will be a good game.Watertown wrote: Thu Nov 10, 2022 1:13 pmNot asking for much are you?
