BC has been extremely tough come playoff time the last few years, I just think Sheridan's schedule has gotten them ready for this point. Let's go with Sheridan in a close one

I understand the point you’re making, and I agree with the premise.greygoose wrote: Sat Nov 05, 2022 2:17 pm BC has been extremely tough come playoff time the last few years, I just think Sheridan's schedule has gotten them ready for this point. Let's go with Sheridan in a close one
Food for thought: does BC stifling Tri-Valley put to bed the competition/body of work argument?
Re: Round 3. Bloom-Carroll v Sheridan
Nope, because honestly I think Tri-Valley was overrated and their body of work wasn't even on par with BC so that was not a shocker to see BC win that one.formerfcfan wrote: Sat Nov 05, 2022 2:20 pmI understand the point you’re making, and I agree with the premise.greygoose wrote: Sat Nov 05, 2022 2:17 pm BC has been extremely tough come playoff time the last few years, I just think Sheridan's schedule has gotten them ready for this point. This one might be described as a good old knock down drag out affair. Could be the last team that has the ball may walk away with the win. Hope both teams have an injury free game.

I want to go with Sheridan in this one but my gut is telling me to not go against BC.
Ill take the upset here
BC 42 Sheridan 35

If BC can figure out how to stop the one dimensional running attack of Sheridan they will win. Sheridan is not a great passing team but, they do run the ball well and they are good at it. BC 34 Sheridan 24

Bloom Carroll will not give up 30+ points win or lose. Their offensive approach alone won't allow that to happen and their defense is very good. This will be a lower scoring game. Somewhere along the lines of last week's game against Tri-Valley.

Throw the seeding out the door BC is favored to win this game.

Bloom Carroll's linemen are big, strong, and good. Their DBs and LBs are athletic and cover the pass well. They make it difficult to score.
On offense, they are run, run, run. Also very difficult to stop. If a team can stop them, the passing game is not strong. I would call that their weakness.
I would really like to see Sheridan win. BUT, I think BC will beat them worse than they beat Tri-Valley (20-7). Hoping I am wrong.
Bloom Carroll is a very talented team from the snap to the whistle. My one complaint about them is a lot of lineman do not stop on the whistle (especially #72 - thinks he is starring in "The Blindside") on several plays. It's playoff time and the strips don't like to throw the flag. They didn't in week 12.
