I was very impressed with the pitching last night, especially Volquez. The kid's gonna be a good one!

I have to agree, last night's pitching was great, especially if you compare it to last years. The run support wasn't there, but it will come around in time.
I have to say, it looks weird see Dusty Baker in a Reds uniform

Saw they sent Bailey down to AAA... he'll be back. The Reds have one of the most exciting young pitching staffs coming up in the league. Also, I read on ESPN that they feel the Reds have had the best spring training in all of baseball!!! Go Reds!

I think that moving Bailey down was a good move. He still needs some work on his control before he pitches with the Reds in the season. But, Josh Fogg is a very talented pitcher and will give us a very good 5th starter. I like what he has to offer. I have a really good feeling about this season.

I think the rotation should be a lot better than last year, now they need to improve there defense.

first of all, homer baily won't be in rotation, the reds are keeping him down in AAA to perfect his skills since he hasn't had the best of luck in the majors. Also, I agree dunn is a bit of a hindrance with his lack of speed and many k's but griffey is just coming off 4 or 5 straight years of bad injuries and is starting to make a comeback so i'd say keep the hometown kid a little longer. I think the reds will do much better now since they have a proven manager, hopefully the Big Red Machine lives again

the reds made a good move in sending Bailey down. he still needs to develop. Cueto and Voluez did better this spring anyway. i hope to see a rotation of: Harang,Arroyo,Belisle,Voluez and Fogg. send Cueto down with Homer to develop more

We couldn't get tickets for opening day, but we will be there for the Braves series for sure. The Red Sox series most likely, and probably the Nationals series, maybe another few, not sure yet.

In case you missed it . In sat marettia times . the reds sent them over to my house to do a story on the way we go to the reds game. The reds owners son is really hot on this . There giving us seats bye the dugout and said we might be in the booth with marty. Front page in the sports section . Pretty cool !! You can see it on-line.
