A legend indeed...... for what?
I was told by one of the Matewan fans that she had her .357 under the seat of her truck, :122246 ,
That part of the country, well, that is enough said.
They brought in the cops afterwards, precautionary I guess but for who?
As stated "no class, no ethics". He will go down in history and we know how.

A defensive coordinator from a school that played against that Kinder team actually said that he had seen several backs better than McCoy on the Ohio teams he played that season.

According to Chicago Tribune Yogi's quote was "I wanted him to have his pick of colleges to play football"I agree he was not a prospect for college because of his size.I am sure the esteemed MR!!!!Kinder knew this.Makes one wonder whom he wanted plastered on TV.Himself in his "glory" or this poor young man that was used as a vehicle to further THE LEGEND OF MATEWAN.

Seems like a bunch of whiny assesz to me. I love the coaches who have the mindset of, it’s not my responsibility to keep my team from scoring, it’s yours. This soft, whiny attitude is one of the things wrong with sports these days. Oh well everyone deserves a trophy. Even the ones who don’t work hard. He11 give trophies to the ones who quit during the season too. Don’t they deserve one? SMDH

I saw him at Speedway after the BOE meeting. I recognized him from times I had seen him on channel 3. He said he went to meeting to kinda scope things out. Definitely considering an application is what he told me. Personally, having a proven winner like him would be awesome.

He lives and coaches in Tennessee now. He won the state championship his last season at Mingo Central in West Virginia and then hung it up and is now an assistant coach down there.
