EasternDspy - Just responding to Fort5789’s comment. There is no victory lap from 2021. Fort Frye is one of 4 teams that has a shot at the DVI title. I stated an opinion that I do not believe one can simply run the ball & beat a Kirtland or Marion Local, Fort 5789 must have taken it personal.

Kirtland and Marion Local are the standard for small school football in Ohio, heck they are the standard for Football period. Fort Frye is trying to get to that level. They only way to get there is keep putting yourself in the position to get the opportunity to play them. I expect this to be a good game. It will be physical and the game will go quick as others have mentioned. Fort Frye’s offense has put up points all year long, and while Kirtland will be probably the best defense they have faced all year, I still expect FF to score some points. Fort Frye is going to have to bring their A game, not turn the ball over or have lots of penalties. I’m ready for to watch some high quality football, and hopefully for the first time the Cadets are preparing for a state championship next week.

The Hornets havent faced a Wing T ran the way the boys from Beverly run it. You can beat Ironton but you cant beat the Fort.
