Talk about two buzzsaws running into each other. A Total of 25 State Championship appearances combined since 2000.

6 State Championships for Kirtland
12 State Championships for Marion Local
All since 2000. UNBELIEVABLE.

11 Shutouts for Marion Local on the year.
Both defenses have given up 29 points total since September 30th.

This has the makings to be a great State Championship game. Both schools do the small things the right way and they do it with respect, class, and humility.

Arguably the two best small high school football programs in the United States going head to head. The numbers are video game numbers and may never be equaled again.
