Jackson moves to 2-0 on the season and gets a good start at defending their FAC Championship

Game wasn’t a barn burner and both teams shared their struggles. The Carpenter sisters got things going for Jackson. Freshman PG Sydney was quite the spark in the first half and was a problem for Hillsboro and big sister T.J. was a 4 qtr problem as the 5’9 slashing, ambidextrous, crafty junior went for 20 and filled up 3 other statistical columns for sure. Sydney Hughes was solid and Mattie Walburn finished with near 10 but was in foul trouble all night along with Kenzie Davis. Sophia Metzler came off the bench for good minutes and had a bucket and several rebounds.

I imagine the score won’t be as close at Hillsboro.

I still am going with not even touching the offensive player in the lane putting up a shot or going to the basket….everything is a foul for whatever reason and most won’t even come close to finishing. Make ‘em finish.

Hillsboro had a few quick little guards and played solid zone defense.
